Material overview
Caramel side-pressed bamboo is a solid sheet made from bonded bamboo strips, with a smooth surface on both sides. It is strong along the grain and has a warm caramel colour and visible grain. Its smooth finish and robust structure make it suitable for laser cutting and engraving.
Please note that 5 mm bamboo is relatively fragile across the grain. The clear grain direction makes the sheets stronger lengthwise than crosswise.

We cut or saw the sheets as accurately as possible. Minor deviations of a few millimetres may occur due to the sawing or cutting process.

Yes, unused and undamaged materials can be returned within 14 days. Custom-made or specially ordered sheets are excluded. You can find more information on our returns page.
